The Shannon Lake Neighbourhood Association (SLNA) hosted its 3rd Annual Dinner and Dance at Courses Restaurant, Shannon Lake Golf Course on June 7th. The community event was a sell-out event with over 100 people in attendance.

Guests were treated to a 6-course meal including drinks and dessert. The Courses Restaurant staff provided excellent service while also entertaining guests with some impromptu dance routines. Also, a big thanks to Courses for donating several door prizes.

Part of the evening included a Silent Auction. Guests were invited to put bids in for several items that were donated by local businesses. Proceeds from the Silent Auction will go to the SLNA to enable the association to better serve the neighbourhood. Special thanks to COBS Breads, Telemark Nordic Club, Shannon Lake Golf Course, Grizzli Winery, City Furniture and Appliances, Mission Hill Estates Winery, T-Bones Meats, Off The Grid Organic Winery, Two Brothers Mexican Restaurant and Neighbours Pub and Liquor Store.

Following dinner, guests were treated to a great selection of 70's, 80's and 90's hits from the Okanagan’s own rock band, Crisprr. The band was coming off their BC tour with the Rush tribute band New World Men. If you missed Crisprr, they will be playing at The Vibrant Vine Winery on Thursday, August 7, 2025.
